Start building more options for your future.

Join the free Cultivator Chronicles, my ongoing weekly letters for fellow Gen Xers who want to develop income beyond the paycheck.

You may have reached this page with an idea in mind. Something you could teach, a resource you’d like to make, or a question about how to begin earning from what you know.

Or perhaps you recognize the possibility and still can’t see your place in it. You have experience. You see what other people are creating. You’d like to know what someone with your responsibilities, your starting point, and your available time could actually do.

That’s what I’m exploring too, and I’d like to have you along.

Follow the work. Find possibilities for your own.

Discover the recurring income models I’m using right now, how to turn useful knowledge you already have inside your head into digital assets, and practical ways to create, publish, and sell, so you can begin building income that doesn’t depend entirely on working more hours.

You’ll see what I’m trying, what I’m learning, and what needs adjusting as the work develops.

I want to share enough of the decisions that you can consider how they apply to you. How do you choose an idea worth making? What would help someone enough that they would pay for it? How do you explain what you’ve made and put it in front of the people who need it?

A weekly letter. More to explore between editions.

The Chronicles follow a larger story across four seasons: Identity, Stewardship, Multiplication, and Legacy. We begin with what you have to work with and who you’re becoming. We’ll examine how to care for what you build, how useful work can reach beyond your own hours, and what you want to pass on to the people who come after you.

You can bring the life and experience you have now. These are questions to work through together as we build.

Alongside the letters, I’m planning five Journal posts a week. That gives us room to examine a question more closely, demonstrate a process, or follow an idea through an actual project. I’ll point you toward relevant entries and videos from the Chronicles so you have somewhere to go deeper when something catches your attention.

What’s working now.

I’ll also share what I’m putting to use: an approach I’m testing, a tool helping with a specific task, or a change I’m making after seeing how people respond. You’ll see what’s working for me, what I’m still testing, and what I’m changing.

As the work develops, I’ll introduce resources and offers that can help you put an idea into practice, with a clear explanation of who they’re for and why I’m recommending them. My aim is to give you useful things to consider and try in your own work.

Make room for what you want to build.

Your free welcome resource begins with The Hidden Trade, a Field Guide about seeing what your hours are actually being exchanged for.

You can have an idea worth pursuing and still reach the end of another week without touching it. The guide helps you recognize those exchanges, including the ones that look productive while quietly taking the time you meant to give something else.

You’ll also have a starting exercise: identify one recurring trade you want to change, choose an hour you can protect, and give it a purpose. It could become time for a first resource, an explanation you want to record, or a project you’ve been carrying around in your head.

Bring a possibility of your own.

You don’t need a product idea settled before you join. You can begin with a problem you understand, something people ask you about, or the feeling that there’s more you want to do with what you know.

I’m building this alongside work and family too. I want more options for the years ahead, and I want the things I create to be useful to someone else along the way.

If that sounds like work you’d like to be part of, leave your email below. After subscribing, you can open the free Field Guide and starting exercise. Confirm your email to receive the Chronicles as we continue.
